Unreasonable Expectations Theater

Editor's note: The author of the following is disturbingly optimistic about Tar Heel football year after year. As in "routinely thought UNC would beat FSU in the '90's" opimistic. Hell, he thought Carolina would beat State. The man needs to be committed. Take the following with a large salt dosage

Should:

• Virginia Tech win its next six games. (Likely)
  
• Miami, in addition to losing to the Hokies, drop another game due to lack of focus. (A reasonable assumption)
  
• That other game be against UNC. (Big. Giant. Fluke. Although it's happened before)
  
• Carolina can beat Virginia, Maryland, BC and Duke. (BC is tough. The others, not unreasonable)
  

Then UNC and Virginia Tech play for the championship of the ACC 15-501 Division on November 26th. And Carolina could still only be 6-4 entering the game.
